Two levels of care, built around school and family
We know you worry about your teen falling behind. Our programs bridge the gap between getting essential mental health support and keeping a normal daily routine. Both meet Monday through Friday after school (2:00 PM to 7:00 PM).
Support included in every level of care
Each week: 2 individual therapy sessions, 1 family therapy session, and a Multi-Family Group, because your family is worth it and it works.
Family Program
Mental health struggles impact your entire home. The strongest recoveries happen when the family heals together, so we actively involve you in the therapeutic process to foster deeper understanding and collective healing.
Multi-Family Group
This weekly, therapist-led group spans the gap between isolation and community. It brings families together to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and set healthy boundaries while sharing experiences with other parents.
Medication Management
Our Medical Director, Dr. Alva, and his team provide a full psychological evaluation upon admission so medications, if applicable, are professionally managed. Families can access Dr. Alva's care alongside their current physician as needed.
One-on-One Therapy
Weekly individual sessions with master's-level therapists. A holistic approach addresses your child's mental, physical, and emotional needs while helping them stay on track with academic and future goals.
Group Counseling
Peer support is a vital pillar of recovery. Groups include gender-specific, coping skills, anger management, and behavioral therapy, so your child builds a network alongside peers who truly understand.
Alumni Program
Graduates are invited to our free Alumni Program for ongoing weekly support. Teens can even become peer mentors, serving as role models for new clients beginning their own journey.
Virtual Care
We find in-person care to be more effective, but when schedules or distance make that challenging, we can facilitate virtual sessions.
Program Questions, Answered
What is the difference between PHP and IOP?
Both are outpatient levels of care. Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is our highest level of outpatient care at 5 days a week, 5 hours a day. Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is flexible transitional care at 3 to 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. Both meet Monday through Friday during after-school hours.
What does my teen receive each week?
Every Bridge OC family receives 2 individual therapy sessions and 1 family therapy session each week, plus a weekly Multi-Family Group. All therapists providing direct client care are master's-level clinicians.
Can my teen keep up with school during treatment?
Yes. Our programs run Monday through Friday during after-school hours so your teen can receive essential support without putting their education on hold.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
We find in-person care to be more effective, but when schedules or distance make that challenging, we can facilitate virtual sessions.
What happens after my teen finishes the program?
Graduates are invited to join our free Alumni Program for ongoing weekly support, and teens can choose to become peer mentors for new clients.
