Austin began his career in the treatment industry in 2014, working from support staff up to founding an adult IOP in 2016. Following an internship at an adolescent facility, he discovered his true calling. Today, he is fueled by a passion to help adolescents navigate modern struggles, drawing on extensive experience to lead our team. Outside of work, Austin can usually be found coaching his son's baseball team or driving his daughter to her dance performances.

Dr. Alva is a distinguished expert specializing in adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry. With extensive experience in dual diagnosis, he is proficient in treating complex cases involving co-occurring disorders. His approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, utilizing cutting-edge medications alongside innovative therapies to optimize mental health outcomes. His expertise extends to the implementation of anti-craving interventions, effective in addressing substance use disorders.
Clinical Director
Duane is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1999 with experience in inpatient, outpatient and private practice settings. Certified in EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis, with extensive experience helping individuals, couples and families navigate life's challenges. Also experienced and certified in clinical supervision, supporting interns as they work toward professional licensure.
Program Director
Stephanie is a Program Director with over 15 years of experience in substance use treatment. A Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor with a BA from the University of Kansas. She has successfully led three treatment programs in San Diego County, specializing in perinatal substance use and helping families navigate the child welfare system. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, the beach, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
